Mission Statement – Freedom Speak International
Freedom Speak International is a nonprofit organization that exists to empower immigrant artists—especially writers, painters, and comedians—by providing direct, accessible support for editing, translation, publication, and promotion of their creative work. Founded by an immigrant and independent author who understands firsthand the barriers faced by newcomers, our organization is committed to ensuring that the voices and stories of immigrant communities are heard, respected, and celebrated.
Through culturally grounded artistic mentorship and practical publishing support, we help immigrant storytellers reclaim their freedom of expression, amplify their identities, and share their journeys of struggle, hope, and triumph with the world.
We believe all immigrant artists can embrace who they are, can define their future, and can change the world.
Our Mission
Freedom Speak International is a nonprofit organization built by immigrants, for immigrants—a creative sanctuary where voices too often silenced by displacement, language barriers, or lack of access are finally heard, seen, and celebrated.
We exist to break the silence surrounding immigrant stories by supporting writers, visual artists, and comedians from immigrant communities in Canada and around the world. Our mission is to provide direct, hands-on support in editing, translating, publishing, and promoting artistic work—so no talent is lost to invisibility.
Founded by refugee who struggled to find a platform to share his truth, Freedom Speak International was born to fill a critical gap: while many organizations refer, we do. We don’t wait for systems to catch up. We empower immigrant creatives to reclaim their voices, shape their narratives, and contribute to the global cultural dialogue—on their own terms.

We dream of a future where no immigrant is silenced by bureaucracy, isolation, or lack of opportunity—where every brushstroke, every line of poetry, every performance becomes an act of freedom, healing, and transformation.
